BridgeHead Software approved for G-Cloud 11 framework

ASHTEAD, UK – 25 July 2019BridgeHead Software, a leader in healthcare data management, today announced that it has, once again, been accepted as a supplier on the latest version of the UK government’s public sector cloud procurement framework, G-Cloud 11.

From July 2019, BridgeHead’s award winning Independent Clinical Archive (ICA), HealthStore®, will be available on the ‘Cloud Software’ lot, while its Professional Services for Healthcare Data Management can be found under ‘Cloud Support’ on the Digital Marketplace.

Operated by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), the framework encourages the adoption of cloud-based IT services across the public sector. G-Cloud 11 allows suppliers and contractors to bid for new technologies and services more efficiently, without the need to enter the full tender process.

With 25 years’ experience, BridgeHead delivers data management solutions that help healthcare organisations overcome the challenges stemming from rising data volumes, lack of system interoperability, and increasing storage costs, delivering peace of mind around how to extract, consolidate, store, protect and access clinical and administrative information.

Through HealthStore®, BridgeHead offers a single, easily accessible and standards-based repository for all healthcare data. The software allows clinicians, health information managers and other users to search and retrieve data from within the repository, whether through an EPR, viewer, portal or other relevant application.

In addition, BridgeHead’s robust and comprehensive disaster recovery platform allows healthcare organisations to safeguard their systems and data in the unfortunate event of a system failure, corruption, outage or more serious event to ensure the vital continuation to hospital operations.

John McCann, Senior Director of Marketing at BridgeHead Software, comments: “At a time when delivering greater efficiencies and value to patients is a top priority, BridgeHead’s HealthStore® is helping healthcare organisations to unlock the power of data; arming clinicians with all of the information they need, at the point of care, to effectively and efficiently consult, diagnose and treat patients.

“We’re proud to have been approved for G-Cloud once again. BridgeHead’s recent inclusion on the latest framework reinforces our commitment to helping both existing and future customers make the move to the Cloud by deploying best-of-breed technology, providing a central repository for live and legacy data, including medical images, scanned patient records, as well as non-clinical business, financial and operational data.”
