Cureatr Listed in Gartner Hype Cycle for Digital Care Delivery, Including Telemedicine and Virtual Care, 2019

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#healthITCureatr, a Comprehensive Medication Management (CMM) technology and services company, announced today that it was listed as a Sample Vendor for Medication Compliance Management in Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Digital Care Delivery, Including Telemedicine and Virtual Care, 2019.

This is the first year Cureatr was listed in this Hype Cycle Report. According to the report, “This Hype Cycle tracks digital innovations focused on optimizing and transforming the care delivery capabilities of healthcare providers. It will help healthcare CIOs update the digital care strategy and roadmap, and determine innovation portfolio candidates.”

Cureatr was included as a Sample Vendor in Medication Compliance Management. The report states “Medication compliance management systems are designed to enforce patients taking their medications correctly. This can result in more efficient and effective use of medications, improved patient outcomes, and reduced costs due to fewer patient readmissions as poor medication compliance is a common reason for readmissions.” The report also states that medication compliance management systems “are most important in chronic condition management and behavioral care where noncompliance can lead to worsening clinical status, readmissions, more emergency department visits and increased costs.”

Cureatr’s offers at-risk health systems and payers a full suite of products and clinical services to address the $528 billion suboptimal medication management crisis in the US. Cureatr’s medication management platform Meds 360°, gives caregivers what they don’t have in their EHR: easily accessible, real-time prescription fill data, past and present, in an easy to read longitudinal view, organized by drug categories to help combat issues with suboptimal medication therapy such as non-adherence, adverse reactions, unnecessary therapies, inappropriate dosage, and inadequate therapy.

“We are honored to be named as a Sample Vendor in Gartner’s Hype Cycle Report,” said Richard Resnick, CEO at Cureatr. “We pride ourselves on innovation and we believe inclusion in this report validates that we are offering solutions that solve real business and clinical problems in healthcare. We know that our platform gives providers a simple but distinct advantage in improving clinical and financial outcomes – the ability to reliably fill in the blanks of a patient’s medication usage even when it’s not documented in their EHR.”
