"Due to busy schedules, coupled with the demands of work and family, women often put themselves last when it comes to their own health," says Go Red for Women Luncheon Chair Patti Darnley, president and CEO, Gateway Health. "I see a lot of women stressed out and not taking care of themselves. I want to raise awareness about how important it is to take care of yourself. There is a great professional community here in the Pittsburgh region, and we need to take advantage of that."

Darnley sees the Go Red for Women Luncheon as a great place for women to learn how to take care of themselves. "It's more than a Luncheon," she said. "It's an expo that offers a lot of information, education, hands-on experiences, and networking." I invite everyone to leave the luncheon with a sense of empowerment?.make the time to "KNOW YOUR NUMBERS."

The five numbers we all should know to take control of our heart health include: Blood Pressure, Total Cholesterol, Good Cholesterol (HDL) Blood Sugar levels and Body Mass Index (BMI).
