Industry-leading Team Returns to Multifamily & Healthcare Space with Launch of Approved MAP and LEAN FHA Lender Multifamily & Healthcare Finance, LLC

One of the FHA-lending industry's most successful senior management teams is together again. FHA-financing veterans Jim Moore; Joe Funk, and Bob Sheddy have launched Multifamily & Healthcare Finance, LLC (MHF), an approved MAP and LEAN FHA lender that provides mortgage solutions and new construction funding for clients seeking to purchase, refinance, rehabilitate, or develop commercial multifamily and healthcare properties.

Moore, Funk, and Sheddy led an impressive multi-year run as the CEO, COO, and Chief Underwriter, respectively, of Oppenheimer & Co.'s FHA-lending division before Oppenheimer discontinued its FHA-lending operations in 2016. Under Moore's leadership as CEO, Oppenheimer's FHA platform routinely booked $1 billion per year in financing and serviced a $4.5 billion multifamily and healthcare portfolio, placing the group comfortably within the top 10 lenders in the sector. Together, the three principals have more than 80 years of experience in FHA financing for multifamily and healthcare loans.

Headquartered in Doylestown, PA, MHF will provide personalized financing options to owners, developers, and investors for their multifamily and healthcare properties throughout the United States. The company has received approval from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) as a MAP and LEAN FHA-approved lender for multifamily properties and healthcare loans, including financing for hospitals, senior housing, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities.

“Working with Joe and Bob again, it's as though we haven't missed a beat," said Jim Moore, President and CEO of MHF. “Given the experience we bring to the table and the success we've had as a management team, we were ready to go on day one of this venture. We're excited to be in touch with old and new customers, and to provide and structure their financing needs across the United States."

The company offers full-service FHA-insured lending, from origination and underwriting through closing. With its decades of specialization in FHA-backed commercial lending, the MHF team is well qualified to understand clients' objectives, provide careful evaluation of their financing needs and find the ideal funding solution.
