The national fertility services provider Ovation Fertility has added Aaron Harutunian to its rapidly growing team as Director of Business Development. Harutunian joined the Ovation Fertility team on January 15, 2018, bringing 10 years of experience in IVF and reproductive genomics.

“We are excited Mr. Harutunian is joining Ovation Fertility's growing ranks of fertility experts," says Nate Snyder, Ovation Fertility's Chief Executive Officer. “Through our discussions, it became clear Mr. Harutunian shares Ovation Fertility's commitment to providing patients and physicians with market-leading healthcare services. As Director of Business Development, Mr. Harutunian will be tasked with growing Ovation Fertility's genetics, donor services and embryo storage service lines."

Harutunian built his career in the fertility field at Genesis Genetics, starting in 2008 as director of preimplantation genetic screening (PGS), a type of genetic testing for aneuploidy screening of embryos. Starting in 2013, he became director of business development and a managing partner for Genesis Genetics, which later became a CooperSurgical company. “I'm proud to be part of Ovation Fertility's unparalleled team of dedicated experts, whose goal is to improve pregnancy rates and patient care using only the most advanced genetic testing and IVF technologies clinically available," Harutunian says.

Harutunian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nutritional sciences from Michigan State University, where he worked as a laboratory technician and research scholar, participating in a grant-funded research project to better understand the function of vitamin A during early embryonic development and cardiovascular formation.

Among his many professional affiliations, Harutunian is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS). He is also a manager of the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) and has served as a speaker at the Southwest Embryology Summit (SWES) and Southern California Assisted Reproductive Biologists (SCARB).
