Circadiance’s Infant Apnea Monitoring Program Receives Great Reception at VGM Heartland

Circadiance, a pioneer in remote patient monitoring specializing in the infant apnea arena, exhibited and presented at the VGM Heartland Conference during the week of June 19, 2018. Circadiance presented an education program that demonstrated the viability of an infant apnea monitoring program that can both improve babies' lives, and secure a profitable business opportunity for durable medical equipment companies.

The presentation by Circadiance was titled, "Building a Profitable Infant Apnea Monitoring Program." The program was presented by Tom Lucas, VP of Sales and Marketing as part of the Respiratory and Sleep Track of the VGM Heartland Educational Program. The course identified unique ways to: build a profitable infant apnea monitoring program, take advantage of all possible reimbursements, increase physician referrals, and build strong relationships with the NICU. “Everyone in attendance was interested in learning about a program that can give a DME over 200% in ROI, has established reimbursement codes not affected by competitive bidding, and help improve patient outcomes and save babies' lives," stated Tom Lucas.

There are an estimated 240,000 babies born each year that are candidates for infant apnea monitoring. This number is expected to grow due to the increase of opioid babies and women waiting later in life to have their first child.
