Networking Event Connects Nurses and Healthcare Companies;

Screens “The American Nurse” for Contact Hour Credit

LOS ANGELES, July 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HolliBlu, a platform that seamlessly connects nurses and healthcare companies, today announced its first Nurses’ Day Out, a hosted networking event for nurses, healthcare companies, non-profits, and industry colleagues. In addition to food and live music, the event will screen “The American Nurse,” a documentary directed by award-winning filmmaker Carolyn Jones, following the lives and careers of five nurses and their unique specialties. Nurses attending the event will receive one contact hour for viewing this powerful and insightful film.

HolliBlu’s Nurses’ Day Out is slated for July 21, 2018 at a private home, just off the famous Mulholland Drive, with an open house approach from 9am to 9pm. The documentary will air throughout the day, with screenings scheduled at 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm. Click here to confirm your attendance and add details to your calendar.

Nurses’ Day Out reflects HolliBlu’s desire to focus on the needs of the nurse community. “Nurses need resources to sustain this vital work; one of the HollliBlu goals is to be that support system, engaging more deeply with individuals through its community of nurses,” said Cara Lunsford, RN, CNO, and co-founder of HolliBlu, LLC.
