Sheer Recovery Sponsors Professional Beach Volleyball Player and Olympic Hopeful Alexa Strange

(August 09, 2018)

San Juan Capistrano, CA, August 09, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Sheer Recovery, a leading Southern California drug and alcohol treatment center, has agreed to sponsor Alexa Strange, a rising star in professional beach volleyball and 2020 Olympics hopeful.

Born and raised in Southern California, Alexa has been playing volleyball nearly all her life. At just 24-years-old, she’s already accomplished a lot, becoming an All-American in beach volleyball and a two-time national champion. Alexa is a graduate from the University of Southern California (USC) at which she was a pivotal player for the school’s beach volleyball team.

"I am so excited to be sponsored by a company like Sheer Recovery and have the opportunity to use my platform as a professional athlete to help bring awareness to mental illness and addiction. I think there are many parallels between the discipline of mastering your sport and mastering your addictions, and I am proud to work with a company like Sheer Recovery that is helping people do just that in the most ethical and genuine way possible," said Alexa.

Sheer Recovery is proud to sponsor Alexa as she continues her athletic journey. As part of the partnership, Alexa will promote Sheer Recovery, making public appearances, wearing the Sheer Recovery logo, and leading beach volleyball clinics for those currently being treated at the Sheer Recovery center.

“We’re very exciting to be working with an athlete and person of Alexa’s caliber,” said Anthony Valanos, Director of Admissions for Sheer Recovery. “We are looking forward to working with Alexa to represent Sheer Recovery, work with our patients to improve their lives and stay on the road to recovery.”

Sheer Recovery is led by a team of medical and clinical professionals well-versed in handling drug and alcohol addiction issues.
