Access Health Services Selects Vital Data Technology's Affinit?™ Platform for Affiliated Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans Nationwide
Decision expands relationship, enables affiliates to use platform's integrated care coordination, HCC risk adjustment, provider alignment, and HEDIS® quality management solutions
(August 10, 2018)

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Aug. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Vital Data Technology, LLC, an emerging  innovator in artificial intelligence and advanced analytics for health plan performance, today announced Access Health Services selected the Affinit?™ platform's integrated care coordination, HCC risk adjustment, HEDIS® quality management and provider alignment modules for affiliated Medicare Advantage health plans.  This decision expands the organization's relationship with Vital Data Technology.  Superior Select Health Plans, an Access Health Services affiliate, will be the first of several to deploy the Affinit?™ platform in the next 90 days.

Access Health Services, an Arkansas based Managed Services Organization (MSO), now provides Affinit?™ modules including: Affinit?™ Quality, Affinit?™ PlanLink , Affinit?™ ProviderLink and Affinit?™ Risk, otherwise cost-prohibitive to up-and-coming Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans (SNP).  The Affinit?™ platform provides: HEDIS® management for care-gap closure; submission and compliance; payer and provider alignment for quality improvement; risk adjustment for HCC optimization; and care coordination for better member outcomes.

"Extending this partnership allows us to deploy best-of-breed HEDIS®, HCC risk adjustment,  care coordination and provider relationship management for growing and established affiliated Medicare Advantage SNP plans as they seek to optimize management of their members' complex conditions," stated George Platt, MSOM, PAHM, Chief Executive Officer and President of Access Health Services.

The Affinit?™ platform's natively integrated, cloud-based offering addresses the needs of Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans and enables Access Health Services to offer its affiliates configurable solutions uniquely suited to each individual plan's needs.

Jason Lee, Executive Director of Superior Select Health Plans, noted, "Our experience this year with the Affinit?™ Risk tool led us to expand and deploy the full offering. Access enables our staff to utilize this comprehensive solution cost effectively - a tremendous time saver for us - since the platform automates many tasks we are currently completing manually.  As an executive, I appreciate the instant prioritization of our population based on criteria we establish as significant to plan performance."

"Our relationship with Access Health Services enables us to simultaneously deploy powerful, data-driven solutions to numerous health plans nationwide.  This relationship enables affiliates to utilize the Affinit?™ platform's integrated approach to identify, stratify and prioritize members for optimal outcomes across care coordination, quality improvement, risk management and provider relations," commented Matt D'Ambrosia, Chief Executive Officer of Vital Data Technology.
