Central Logic appoints Epic Systems Veteran Matt Dinger as Vice President of Professional Services

SALT LAKE CITY, April 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Central Logic, the leading innovator in transfer center software solutions, is pleased to announce the hiring of Matt Dinger, who will join the company as vice president of professional services. A proven enterprise technology leader, Matt joins Central Logic from Epic Systems Corporation (Epic), where most recently he oversaw all Epic training as well as the tools, process and methodology for global implementations.

“We’re thrilled to have Matt as part of our team,” said Central Logic CEO Angie Franks. “His success leading and holistically improving implementation at Epic speaks for itself, and his deep understanding of EHRs and the challenges hospitals and health systems face will be a tremendous benefit for our clients.”

Dinger drove significant quantitative and qualitative improvement during his tenure with Epic. In addition to overseeing training and implementation, he developed and scaled a new implementation process that reduced the average install time from 18 to 12 months. He also created and implemented a standardized method for new customers to evaluate ROI after install and created a new evaluation and feedback loop that clients used to gauge the adoption of new software capabilities across all clients’ C-suite leadership teams.

As vice president of professional services, Matt will oversee Central Logic’s implementation and consulting divisions, and work closely with other senior leaders to optimize the training and onboarding processes for hospitals, health systems and other large healthcare organizations.

“I’m overjoyed to be joining Central Logic at this stage in the company’s evolution,” Dinger said. “Central Logic’s technology can help hospitals and health systems move beyond the traditional EHR in this space, and finally bridge the gaps that have historically made seamless patient flow a goal rather than a reality. I’m honored to be part of a team that will give clinicians and other healthcare professionals the tools they need to ensure the right patients get the right care in the most appropriate setting, without delay.”

Prior to joining Epic, Dinger held key leadership roles at the Boys and Girls Club of Utah County. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Brigham Young University.

Franks added that Dinger’s hiring comes on the heels of other high-profile additions to Central Logic’s leadership team.

“We see the caliber of the new leaders we’ve been able to bring on board over the past year as another signal that we’re on to something big,” Franks said. “Matt shares our vision for transforming patient transfers and overall approach to care, and he’s joining us at an incredibly exciting time.”
