Accelify Adds Enhanced Eligibility Reporting to AcceliPLAN

health news

NEW YORK, April 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Accelify Solutions, LLC (Accelify), a leading provider of special education management systems, is proud to announce enhanced functionality for managing special education eligibility reporting within AcceliPLAN. The new feature streamlines the eligibility determination process by providing a uniform method for plan teams to collect, review and report on eligibility information.

“We are excited to introduce this expanded feature set for our AcceliPLAN customers,” said Alex Brecher, Chief Executive Officer of Accelify. “Working with AcceliPLAN users, it became clear that districts were using disparate methods to collect and report on eligibility information. We are always looking for ways to improve district processes through our technology, and the Eligibility Report does just that by standardizing the collection and reporting of eligibility documentation for special programs.”

The Eligibility Report feature utilizes dynamic custom validations that ensure staff complete all required documentation in determining student eligibility for any disability. All data entered is aggregated to generate a universal eligibility report, which includes district-defined conditional formatting. The feature also enables users to upload assessment data, including images and graphs from outside systems and include those files in output eligibility reports.

“The IEP Eligibility Report feature has helped to streamline collaboration and assessment report writing among our school site teams,” said Katey Bender, Speech Therapy Department Lead for Washoe County School District. “SLPs are now provided the ability to incorporate student-specific data and comprehensive background information within all of our multi-disciplinary reports using uniform language and expectations. The new report template provides useful information, such as attendance history, behavior, and previous interventions that not all SLPs had previously included in their reports.  We have found that this feature has helped us to create cohesive and professional documents, with consistent verbiage across a large group of SLPs.  It has also helped to ensure that all academic domains are being addressed and that reports are generated by case managers in a timely and compliant manner.”
