Ramsay Générale de Santé Deploys Elsevier’s ClinicalKey

PARIS, April 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Ramsay Générale de Santé, a leader in its sector, is the first private hospital in France to deploy ClinicalKey, a clinical knowledge solution from Elsevier, the global information analytics business specializing in science and health.

With its intelligent search engine and rich content – including Haute Authorite de Sante (HAS) best practices recommendations, journals, books and EMC Treaties – ClinicalKey will enable practitioners to quickly access the latest evidence-based medical and scientific information to support their clinical research and clinical decisions.

“The implementation of ClinicalKey is further evidence of our commitment to our practitioners and staff in our institutions to integrate the tools that enable them to conduct research at the highest level and provide the best quality of care. More than 1,000 practitioners of the Ramsay Générale de Santé Group in France participate in research work and represent the first community of private sector researchers in France,” said Dr. Stéphane Locret, Research and Education Director of Ramsay Générale de Santé.

The deployment of ClinicalKey at Ramsay Générale de Santé will provide researchers with a reliable, relevant and comprehensive resource to support and strengthen their publications.

This confirms the Group’s ambition to enhance the value of its physicians’ dynamic clinical research activity, to facilitate its development and to be an officially recognized player in this field.

“Across France, Ramsay Générale de Santé welcomes over two million patients every year and offers a full range of hospital care including medicine, surgery, obstetrics, follow-up care and rehabilitation, and mental health,” said Tim Hawkins, Managing Director for Clinical Solutions, EMEALAAP, Elsevier. “The quality and breadth of knowledge ClinicalKey provides is an ideal solution to ensure all of their staff are supported with the latest clinical best-practice.”
