Josh McCarter Promoted to President of MINDBODY

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., May 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — MINDBODY, the leading technology platform for the wellness industry, today announced the promotion of Josh McCarter to President of MINDBODY. McCarter joined MINDBODY as chief strategy officer following the company’s acquisition of Booker in 2018, where McCarter served as CEO and co-founder.

In his new role, McCarter will continue to expand MINDBODY’s strategy, and be responsible for the company’s principle revenue generating activities including sales, marketing, customer services, business development, and corporate development.

Prior to Booker, McCarter was president and COO of Arbitech, a leading independent distributor of computer hardware that achieved $1B of sales under his leadership. McCarter previously served as COO of SpaFinder, managing the company’s technology, operations and strategic initiatives. Before joining SpaFinder, he served as vice president of international development and vice president of business development for the online automotive marketing leader, Autobytel.com. McCarter graduated Cum Laude from UCLA and received his Master of Business Administration from USC.

McCarter replaces Mike Mansbach, who endorsed the promotion, and chose to step down to spend more time with his family.
