LindaCare Builds Powerhouse Remote-Monitoring Team: Two World-Renowned Cardiac Implantable Device Experts Join as Senior Physician Consultants

LEUVEN, Belgium and STAMFORD, Conn., May 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — LindaCare, a digital health company specializing in development of remote patient monitoring solutions for chronic disease management, announces at the Heart Rhythm Society Scientific Sessions it has added two of the world’s leading experts in cardiac implantable device management to its Medical Advisory Board: Bruce Wilkoff, MD, and Charles Love, MD, as Senior Physician Consultants.

LindaCare’s Senior Physician Consultants will help define the next generation of industry-leading Cardiac Implantable Device remote monitoring technology.  “Drs Wilkoff and Love are top opinion leaders in the field.  Their experience and insight will add to LindaCare’s existing strength in the development of state-of-the-art software and services. We feel the role of technology is to improve clinical workflow and ultimately patient care. Dr. Wilkoff is Director of Cardiac Pacing and Tachyarrhythmia Devices and a Professor of Medicine in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Section of Cardiac Pacemakers and Electrophysiology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and at Case Western Reserve University. He is recognized as an international expert in the design of new technologies to improve the performance of pacemakers and defibrillators. He is involved in numerous multi-center clinical trials to study medical applications for pacemakers and defibrillators.

Dr. Love is Director of Cardiac Rhythm Device Services and Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.  He is President of the Board of Directors of IBHRE, the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners. He is one of the foremost international authorities on pacemaker and implantable cardioverter defibrillator implantation and management. Dr. Love was a contributing author on the most recent HRS Expert Consensus Statement on remote monitoring for cardiovascular implantable electronic devices.
