DALLAS, May 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Surgical Notes, a nationwide provider of revenue cycle services and solutions for the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) and surgical hospital markets, announces it has entered into a collaboration with HSTpathways, a nationwide provider of cloud-based, ASC management software.

Surgical Notes, Inc. is a preeminent nationwide provider of transcription, coding and other related information technology services for the ambulatory surgery center and surgical hospital markets. Through the collaboration, SNChart, a web-based transcription and management system, will interface with HSTpathways software. SNChart, Surgical Notes’ proprietary technology platform, automates much of a surgery center’s manual, day-to-day transcription operations. Users can dictate, receive, review, edit, sign, and archive operative reports within one integrated platform that can be accessed from multiple endpoints, including smartphone app, web browser, and phone call.

Interfacing between SNChart and HSTpathways will help further streamline patient chart completion by eliminating manual processes associated with uploading operative notes into HSTpathways software.

“We’re pleased that HSTpathways will now interface with SNChart,” said Tom Hui, chief executive officer and president of HSTpathways. “We know that many of our users leverage SNChart to reduce their time spent on transcription. The interface between our solutions will further enhance the value and benefits of using our platforms. Our collaboration is a good example of two vendors bringing greater efficiencies at an affordable price.”

“This collaboration between Surgical Notes and HSTpathways will strengthen the ability for both companies to better meet the documentation needs of today’s ASCs,” said Randy Bishop, president and chief operating officer for Surgical Notes. “Surgery centers that rely on SNChart and HSTpathways will benefit from improved automation that saves time and money.”
