SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sotera Wireless, maker of the ViSi Mobile® Surveillance Monitoring
System and a pioneer in continuous vital signs monitoring, announced
today the appointment of veteran engineering and operations executive
Younes Achkire, PhD, as its new Chief Operating Officer. With a

brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the semiconductor,
solar, and medical industries. At Sotera he will assume responsibility

development makes him uniquely qualified to lead and shape Sotera’s
technology and portfolio strategies as the company continues its mission
of reinforcing surveillance monitoring as the new standard of care for
patient monitoring in general care floor units where many patients are
unmonitored continuously and face their biggest risk of complications,1

Achkire was recently Vice President of Engineering and Operations at
Foxconn Health Technology Business Group focused on creating an
innovative business model of “Precision Medicine, Smart Health” to be
deployed globally. Prior to Foxconn, he was the Co-founder, Chief
