BTIG Launches Digital Health Equity Research with Andrea Alfonso and Marie Thibault

announced today that it plans to launch digital health equity
research coverage with Andrea Alfonso and Marie Thibault,
Directors
and BTIG Healthcare Analysts. Based out of BTIG’s
New York offices, Ms. Alfonso and Ms. Thibault will expand their
existing medical technology research coverage to include a diverse range
of digital health companies.

Both analysts have extensive healthcare research experience. Prior to
her role at BTIG, Ms. Alfonso was an Equity Research Analyst at Lazard
Capital Markets, covering healthcare services. She began her career in
equity research covering pharmaceutical services, clinical labs,
large-cap pharmaceuticals and healthcare IT at Merrill Lynch. Ms.
Alfonso earned a BA in foreign service with a concentration in
international economics from Georgetown University.

Earlier in Ms. Thibault’s career, she was the Managing Editor of Medical
Device & Diagnostics Industry, a trade publication covering medical
technology. Previously, she was a senior associate on the medical
technology equity research team at Lazard Capital Markets. Ms. Thibault
earned a BS in biology and a minor in writing from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in business and economic
reporting from New York University.
