CVRx President and CEO Nadim Yared Named Chairman of the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC) Board of Directors

ARLINGTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#CVRx–The Medical
Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC)
, announced that CVRx’s President
and CEO Nadim Yared has been named chairman of the MDIC Board of
Directors and Executive Committee for a two-year term. Yared has served
on the MDIC Board of Directors since 2013. He will succeed Abiomed
President and CEO, Michael Minogue who will remain on the Board.

to deliver critical, innovative medical technologies in a timely manner

Yared is currently President and CEO of CVRx, a private company that has
developed an implantable medical device to treat high blood pressure. He
previously served as Vice President and General Manager of Medtronic
Navigation, the leading supplier of integrated image-guided surgery
products in the world. He joined Medtronic Navigation in 2002 after a
10-year career with GE Medical, where he held engineering and marketing
management positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice
President and General Manager of GE’s European X-ray business. Yared
received an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des
Télécommunications and an MBA from INSEAD in France. Yared was
recognized as one of the “100 people to know in 2017” Minneapolis’ Twin
Cities Business Magazine.
