Moxe Awarded “Best Release of Information Solution” by MedTech Breakthrough

MADISON, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Moxe has received the “Best Release of Information Solution” award from MedTech Breakthrough, an independent organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global health and medical technology market.

Moxe automates the release of machine-readable medical records while respecting health systems’ release restrictions and patients’ privacy. This streamlines clinical data exchange between health insurers and clinicians—improving accuracy, reducing turnaround time, and eliminating paper waste.

“Accurate and timely data is foundational to every organization seeking to provide high-quality care while controlling costs,” said Dan Wilson, founder and CEO at Moxe. “We’re privileged to work with leading insurers and health systems to break down the silos in health care and to improve the way the industry collaborates.”

Moxe provides accurate and secure data exchange for collaboration between health systems and insurers. By leveraging a variety of standards (FHIR, HL7 v2, XDR, etc.), Moxe products keep data flowing, from real-time updates that inform clinical decisions to a robust, automated release-of-information solution for risk adjustment, HEDIS and Star ratings, and claims denial management.

Moxe’s clinical data clearinghouse, Substrate, breaks down barriers between health plans and health systems so they can share medical records and supplemental data without delay, without paper and without error.

The newest innovation, Convergence, replaces paper and portals that payers traditionally use to send data to clinicians. Convergence is a bi-directional application for sharing insights that is embedded directly within the EMR. As insurers identify information needed for HEDIS or risk adjustment, they can send this data—and all relevant context—through the application.

“Our products remove waste from the health care system by providing a source of real-time, machine-readable clinical and administrative data,” said Wilson. “We’ve created an unprecedented level of communication that eliminates administrative abrasion and frees up bandwidth for health systems to focus on providing exceptional care.”
