Tennessee Management Company Improves Patient Care With American HealthTech

MOBILE, Ala.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–American HealthTech (AHT), a wholly owned subsidiary of CPSI (NASDAQ: CPSI) and a leading provider of electronic health records (EHR) for the post-acute and senior living markets, today announced that Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation (Twin Rivers), a recently launched Tennessee-based management company, has selected and implemented the AHT solution across their organization. Twin Rivers owns and manages skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities across Tennessee.

Twin Rivers, which commenced operations with a collection of facilities in January 2019, has partnered with AHT since its inception. Following an initial successful implementation for its core facilities in April, the organization acquired three additional facilities that are also powered by the latest AHT solutions.

Having experienced weak customer support from a previous provider at their acquired facilities, Twin Rivers raves about the support from AHT. “Whether it was working side by side with AHT during our implementation, or contacting the Help Desk post-implementation, someone is always ready and willing to ensure our success,” said Shane Reynolds, Twin Rivers chief information officer. “And, from a support standpoint, because AHT is cloud hosted, we have the ability to remotely access and support all of our facilities, saving travel time and money.”

In addition to updating the core EHR for their new facilities, Twin Rivers is also live with AHT’s Communication Center. With secure texting, chat and email functions, providers can now communicate with each other much more efficiently, which in turn has improved patient care.

“With better tools like Communication Center, our providers and nurses are spending less time charting at a desk and more time with the patients and their families. With AHT’s outstanding support, along with an EHR that makes a real difference, you can’t go wrong by partnering with AHT,” Reynolds added.

Boyd Douglas, president and chief executive officer of CPSI, said, “Our main differentiator is our focus and commitment to the client experience. We always put equal energy into our implementation, support and product innovation. We’re delighted to meet and exceed the expectations of organizations like Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation.”
