DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tiatros Inc., a digital behavioral health company, will join the American Heart Association’s Center for Health Technology & Innovation’s Innovators Network (the Center). The Center is focused on building and fostering health technologies and relationships in pursuit of innovative and scalable solutions across the healthcare market. The Center helps members of its Innovators Network in the healthcare technology field align and integrate their technology with the Association’s digital resources to encourage the development and adoption of digital healthcare solutions.

Tiatros brings a portfolio of online psychotherapeutic and resilience programs based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) treatment protocols that are proven to be extremely effective in facilitating long term and sustainable recovery from chronic stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Participants in the programs work together to build psychological resilience skills and to acquire and sustain new, more effective behaviors.

In an effort to increase the accessibility of the association’s condition management plans (called CarePlans), Tiatros and the American Heart Association will work collaboratively to integrate Tiatros’ evidence-based behavioral healthcare services into AHA CarePlans for heart disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity. This endeavor aims to make evidence-based behavioral healthcare services available to millions of cardiovascular patients who cannot otherwise access them.

“The Tiatros team is very excited to collaborate with the American Heart Association’s Center for Health Technology and Innovation. Our solution emphasizes values and personal empowerment, while teaching healthy behavioral skills such as mindfulness meditation and relationship effectiveness. It results in unprecedented program completion rates, positive clinical outcomes, and reaches underserved populations,” said Kimberlie Cerrone, Tiatros’ Founder and CEO.

“The American Heart Association values innovators like Tiatros that are focused on making health data accessible, meaningful and actionable with the intent of improving health outcomes for patients,” said Patrick Wayte, Senior Vice President of the Center for Health Technology & Innovation.

Participants access Tiatros programs on their personal devices, from anywhere, when it is most convenient for their individual schedules. The programs incorporate evidence-based Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness Training, Psychoeducation, and CBT exercises that are tailored by experts to be engaging and relatable to the specific audience. They are mobile-enabled, HIPAA-compliant and HITRUST certified. Tiatros deploys artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics tools to create a personalized user experience for every participant.
