Faith Community Hospital Selects TruBridge to Improve Cash Flow

MOBILE, Ala.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–$CPSI–TruBridge LLC, a subsidiary of CPSI (NASDAQ: CPSI), a community healthcare solutions company, announced today that Faith Community Hospital in Jacksboro, Texas, has selected TruBridge as their partner for Insurance Follow-Up Service.

The TruBridge Insurance Follow-Up Service features call recording, claim reprocessing, W9 request, monthly trending report, rejection processing, and more. It is compatible with all electronic health records (EHRs) and is available to hospitals and clinics of all sizes.

The TruBridge Insurance Follow-Up Service helps clients reduce claim delays and denials and increase cash flow. All related tasks such as calling, refiling and reviewing audit history are handled by the TruBridge billing team, making the process easier for the hospital’s administrative staff.

“We found ourselves having to utilize too many internal resources in an effort to resolve delayed or denied claims that had aged out greater than 45 days,” said Dawn Jones, director of business office for Faith Community Hospital. “Now our staff can focus on keeping current with the new billing and claims.”

“With today’s shrinking margins and billing complexities, providers and payors are facing unprecedented pressure to resolve delayed or denied claims faster,” said Chris Fowler, president of TruBridge. “As it is, even the most experienced hospital business staff can get overwhelmed by the volume of claims requiring follow-up, costing hospitals much-needed cash. Our dedicated team not only helps from a resource perspective, they also bring the expertise and payor contacts to ensure accurate, timely reimbursements.”

“Cash flow is very important to community hospitals, and that is one reason we wanted to be proactive in improving our claims process,” said Bonnie Blevins, chief financial officer for Faith Community Hospital. “Since we already have an EHR vendor, we really needed an EHR-agnostic partner. Community reputation played a key role in our decision, and TruBridge is the partner we trust to help us stay ahead of the curve and get back what we worked so hard to earn.”

Faith Community Hospital is also using the TruBridge Insurance Follow-Up Service in its three affiliated clinics.
