Ambrosia Launches NightRider BluCon and LinkBluCon App for US 14 Day FreeStyle Libre Sensor

Now FreeStyle Libre US 14 day sensor users will be able to receive voice and text notifications when glucose reading is out of range and see readings on their phone and watch without scanning the Libre sensor

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#Ambrosia–Ambrosia announced the availability of the new NightRider and LinkBluCon app. The system can be setup to notify the user if their glucose is outside their target range, for example, or if there is a signal loss between the BluCon and the phone. The user continues to be able to scan their sensor as often as desired to see their glucose reading, trends and patterns, and eight-hour history.

Ambrosia’s NightRider BluCon and LinkBluCon app users can use iPhone, Android phones and Apple, Android, Fitbit watch to monitor their glucose levels and receive notifications when glucose readings are outside the target range. They can also share their glucose readings remotely with their caregivers.

Ambrosia will also make it easier in the future to see health and activity data alongside glucose data on the Ambrosia care platform, which will be an effective tool for users in managing their diabetes. Users will be able to see how sleep, heart rate and cardio fitness can affect their glucose levels. This information, in combination with data from other sources and machine learning, will give Ambrosia an unprecedented ability to better understand the impact of lifestyle and environment on health outcomes.

BluCon can also be used to display glucose readings from FreeStyle Libre, Libre 2, Libre Pro sensor on Apple and Huawei 2 watch without the phone.
