Challenging times call for innovative technology solutions. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the demand for UV-C lighting products offering reliable disinfection, even from coronaviruses. ACT Lighting is pleased to announce that it is distributing UV-C lighting devices from Luxibel as well as the GSUV product range from Golden Sea.
UV-C ultraviolet light is germicidal breaking apart germ DNA and leaving it unable to function or reproduce. It can even neutralize “superbugs” that have developed a resistance to antibiotics. These properties make UV-C lighting products easy, cost-effective solutions for both permanent installation and portable markets that need to disinfect and sanitize a wide array of venues.
“ACT Lighting has begun to distribute UV-C disinfecting devices from our suppliers, which are ideal for use in production environments of all types,” says Aaron Hubbard, Regional Sales Manager at ACT Lighting. “We are delivering a myriad of products from both manufacturers geared toward the permanent installation markets as well as portable solutions ranging from smaller, consumer level applications to theaters and arenas.”
Luxibel, the professional AV lighting brand of AED group, which has its headquarters in Belgium and offices in The Netherlands, Germany, France and the UK, currently offers four UV-C products that can be wall, ceiling or tripod mounted. B HYBRID is a direct and indirect disinfection unit and B AIR is an indirect disinfection unit; both take care of 24-hour air disinfection in the presence of people and animals and eliminate bacteria, viruses, and fungal and mold spores in the air.
B DIRECT is a single direct UVC radiator with reflector and B DIRECT II is a double direct UVC radiator with reflector. They disinfect air and surfaces, up to 22 and 38 square meters respectively, prevent secondary infections and eliminate bacteria, viruses, and fungal and mold spores in the air. Luxibel products are shipping now.
GOLDENSEA UV products are manufactured by the high-tech lighting manufacturer, Golden Sea Professional. A number of units are available from ACT Lighting, including the GOLDENSEA UV-BOX portable ultraviolet disinfection box, which can be used once a day on multiple small items from mobile phones to headsets and masks – one box cleans many items daily.
GOLDENSEA ultraviolet disinfecting fixtures come in UVL72 and UVL 150 models for medium and large commercial and residential environments; also available are the UVT72 ultraviolet disinfecting unit for large spaces and the UVM216 and UVM900 disinfecting units for medium and large commercial spaces. Products feature quartz glass tubes and trustworthy Philips lamps; they are ozone free and their remotes can be operated through a wall.
GOLDENSEA UVP36 household lamps and UVS4 desktop units offer additional options. GOLDENSEA UV-C products will be shipping in mid-June.
All UV-C products distributed by ACT Lighting have numerous safety features and come with complete instructions for safe usage.
