WilliamsMarston Announces Promotions in Boston and New York

BOSTON & NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–WilliamsMarston LLC, an accounting advisory and management consulting firm focused on serving public, private equity-backed and pre-IPO companies, today announced the promotions of Ryan Ganley to Director and Nolan Kiernan to Manager, effective July 1, 2020.

Mr. Ganley is based in the firm’s New York office. He joined WilliamsMarston in 2017 from PwC’s Assurance practice. Mr. Ganley advises a variety of clients on technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, lease accounting, preferred stock, SEC reporting, IPO readiness, and business process improvement. While at PwC, his clients included various companies within the pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and life sciences industries. He provided assurance services pertaining to US GAAP, SEC reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Mr. Ganley is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Muhlenberg College.

Mr. Kiernan is based in the firm’s Boston office. He joined WilliamsMarston in 2018 from PwC’s Assurance practice. Mr. Kiernan advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, the new leasing standard, SEC reporting, audit preparedness and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. He has also assisted various clients in the life sciences industry with process improvement related to the monthly close and has significant experience with research and development accruals and stock-based compensation. At PwC, Mr. Kiernan primarily served clients in the software, technology and manufacturing industries, spending significant time on one of the firm’s largest audit clients in the aerospace and defense industry. Mr. Kiernan is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross.
