Tal Rosenberg to Lead Real World Data at Ciox Health

25-year life sciences and technology veteran named President of Ciox RWD business

ALPHARETTA, Ga.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Ciox, a leading health technology company, today announces Tal Rosenberg as President, Real World Data (RWD). A 25-year veteran in creating new value ecosystems and markets at the intersection of Life Sciences and Information Technology, Rosenberg has held various senior leadership roles within technology organizations. Rosenberg’s rich experience positions him well to lead Ciox RWD in its mission to become the leading provider of deep clinical data and services to Life Sciences and RWD marketplaces.

Securing Rosenberg’s leadership is the latest of several important advancements for Ciox’s growing Real World Data business, including a groundbreaking collaboration with LabCorp, an expanding partnership with Merck, and the acquisition of biomedical natural language processing firm, Medal.

“The addition of Tal Rosenberg as the leader of our RWD team will accelerate our mission of liberating the power of clinical data in support of scientists and researchers working to improve health,” says Pete McCabe, CEO of Ciox. “Tal leads by example, sets a compelling vision and invests in people and their ideas. He brings a proven track record of success in growing industry-leading teams and products. We will lean on this track record as we expand industry use of real-world data and advance patient care by getting the data that tells a full patient story into the hands of researchers.”

Rosenberg succeeds Stephen Kahane, MD, a critical member of Ciox’s executive advisory team who served as interim CEO and President of Real World Data. Kahane will serve as executive advisor to Rosenberg to ensure a seamless transition.

“Joining the Ciox Real World Data team at such a pivotal moment in the organization’s future is an honor,” says Rosenberg. “Ciox’s incredible team has built a reputation for success in the clinical data marketplace, advancing groundbreaking collaborations and furthering partnerships, expanding data rights, and building a strong market offering with an industry-leading outlook.”

Prior to joining Ciox, Rosenberg led the Global Technology Solutions organization at IQVIA, leading the innovation, design, development, delivery and supply chain of the company’s Global Technology Solutions offerings.

A leader in the Life Sciences technology marketplace, Rosenberg regularly speaks at customer and industry venues worldwide on topics related to digital disruption and technology innovation. He holds a BA in Economics and Information Systems and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
