Intellivisit’s Concierge Digital Assistant Now Available in the Epic App Orchard

MILWAUKEE, Dec. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Intellivisit today announced that the Concierge Digital Assistant is now available in the Epic App Orchard. The application elevates the Clinical IQ of medical staff members by enabling them to conduct a dynamic medical interview with a patient, guided by Artificial Intelligence (AI), on a tablet or computer. In addition to integrating with a Health System’s Epic platform, the tool can also read data from, and send data to, the Health System’s Epic platform.

The Concierge Digital Assistant utilizes Intellivisit’s proprietary AI, which draws on data from more than 10 million patient years of data and more than 40,000 symptoms and 4,000 diagnoses. The AI driven dynamic interview asks the relevant clinical triage questions and develops a list of probable diagnosis for the provider to consider. A rules engine will automatically recommend tests and orders when the interview is completed, based on patient answers. When a diagnosis is chosen, a patient summary note is automatically prepared and sent directly to the Health System’s Epic platform.

“Integrating our AI medical interview technology with the Epic platform is a huge step forward in improving both the patient and provider experience,” said Jeff Miller, Intellivisit’s Chief Executive Officer. “The Concierge tool goes beyond decision support, it also automates administrative tasks and reduces the amount of note-taking required by clinical staff and physicians.”
