Christopher Phillips Named Chair of the BioUtah Regulatory, Compliance and Quality Committee

Fluidx’s regulatory and clinical affairs director will take the reins of the Regulatory, Compliance and Quality Committee, utilizing his expertise to help guide the regulatory and quality activities of BioUtah, the state’s premier life sciences trade association

SALT LAKE CITY–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BioUtah today announced that Christopher Phillips, director of regulatory affairs and clinical affairs at Fluidx Medical Technology, has been appointed chair of BioUtah’s Regulatory, Compliance and Quality Committee. Phillips takes the reins from Rai Chowdhary, CEO of the Key Performance Improvement System, whose term is ending after faithfully serving in this leadership capacity for the past two years. Brad Bath, director of regulatory affairs at TEVA Pharmaceuticals, will remain as vice-chair of the committee.

In addition to its contributions in planning for the ULSS, the committee fosters education and training for BioUtah members, professionals in the industry and those generally interested in the life sciences. The committee strives to keep BioUtah companies informed of emerging trends and challenges within the committee’s domain. Phillips has served on the committee for the last two years and has a passion for regulatory and quality disciplines.
