Education Resources, Inc. Announces New, On-Demand Continuing Education Series with Liesa Ritchie-Persaud

BOSTON, June 15, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Education Resources, Inc., a leading continuing education provider for physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, is adding to the company’s robust on-demand, online course catalog with “Treatment of Motor Issues in Children with Sensory Dysfunction Online Series,” taught by internationally renowned and engaging instructor, Liesa Ritchie-Persaud PT, DPT, PCS, CKTP.  

The series, which is now available through ERI’s website, was previously recorded during a live webinar and can now be taken from the convenience of home or office. ERI is offering this on-demand, online learning opportunity for $299/person. Participants will have access to the course and all downloadable handout materials for one year, earning 11.5 contact hours (1.15 CEUs) upon completion.

Through the course, Ritchie-Persaud teaches therapists to utilize “Sensory Aware” tools for pediatric clients referred for gross motor and sensory-motor challenges. Participants will learn to improve children’s postural control, foundational weakness, instability, incoordination, motor planning, and restricted mobility by utilizing sensory knowledge to improve functional outcomes and increase participation in school and at home.
