Elite Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Reports Financial Results for the First Quarter of Fiscal Year 2022 Ended June 30, 2021 and Provides Conference Call Information

NORTHVALE, NJ / ACCESSWIRE / August 16, 2021 / Elite Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“Elite” or the “Company”) (OTCQB:ELTP), a specialty pharmaceutical company developing niche generic products, announced results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2022 ended June 30, 2021 (“First Quarter”).

Total revenues for the three-month period ended June 30, 2021 decreased by $0.5 million or 6%, to $7.1 million, as compared to $7.5 million, for the corresponding period of the prior year, primarily due to timing of sales of Amphetamine IR Tablets and Amphetamine ER Capsules. Stronger margins produced operating profits of $1.0 million, an increase of $0.2 million from the comparable period of the prior year, and net income was $2.4 million.
