Alliance to strengthen both companies’ ability to provide a seamless, full-service bioanalytical client experience across the full spectrum of lifecycle development
Covington, Kentucky–(Newsfile Corp. – October 4, 2021) – CTI Clinical Trial & Consulting Services (CTI), a global contract research organization (CRO) specializing in personalized curative therapies and complex clinical programs, announces that it signed a formal, worldwide partnership agreement with BioAgilytix, a leading global contract research organization focused on supporting pharmaceutical and biotech partners in all phases of drug development. The partnership enables both BioAgilytix and CTI to provide their customers with mutually complementary services, further streamlining the customer experience and expediting drug development.
CTI is working to expand laboratory services to support rare disease and cell & gene therapy research across all regions of the world, with a flagship lab in Cincinnati, OH (covering the Americas), acquisition of Dynakin laboratory services to support Europe and the MEA region, and now a formal partnership with BioAgilytix.
“Part of what has made the CTI team successful over the past 22 years is that we listen to our sponsors. We’ve been hearing them express a desire for a more efficient, consolidated lab experience, and this partnership is one way we can help fill that need as we continue to grow our laboratory services offerings around the world,” explains Tim Schroeder, CEO and Chairman of CTI. “Our team and our sponsors are working in cell and gene therapies and other complex programs with the promise to treat – and even cure – devastating diseases. CTI has been on the forefront of personalized medicine for decades, and we’re looking forward to extending BioAgilytix’s complex specialized testing and assay development services to our sponsors to further support life-changing medical advancements.”
“Our partnership agreement with CTI further solidifies our already outstanding relationship, as we’ve previously worked together to support their customers and help get therapeutics to patients faster,” said Jim Datin, President and CEO of BioAgilytix. “Not only will their clients now benefit from expedited study lead times due to their access to our teams of scientists and additional laboratory capacity, but we can now also extend many of CTI’s offerings to our customer base.”
CTI, now in its third decade, is one of the 20 largest CROs in the world, with associates in more than 60 countries across six continents. The company was recently named the #1 CRO in the world for operational excellence at the 2021 CRO Leadership Awards, outperforming nearly 30 other recognized CROs from around the world.
