MMJ BioPharma Cultivation is anticipating the imminent DEA approval for its federal API Bulk Manufacturing Registration

PROVIDENCE, RI / ACCESSWIRE / April 5, 2022 / MMJ BioPharma Labs and MMJ BioPharma Cultivation has awarded a contract to Anthony Manfredi and Louis Stravato of Safety Management Solutions for the security and safety enforcement of their cannabis research facilities. Safety Management Solutions (SMS) was selected from the field of applicants because they are the industry leader in cannabis security in New England with over 7 years of experience in the marijuana security industry.

MMJ BioPharma Labs has worked diligently to meet all federal safety and security requirements and received approval from the DEA to operate a cannabis schedule 1 substance research laboratory. MMJ BioPharma Labs has created a Center of Marijuana Excellence in the field of cannabis research and the professionals at Safety Management Solutions meet and exceed the high levels of security and safety required by MMJ.

Mr. Manfredi, owner/partner is the force behind the management and operations of the guard force at MMJ, personally overseeing the day-to-day guard operations and client relations. SMS will be providing the extensive safety and security services for the MMJ BioPharma Labs DEA-licensed schedule I substance laboratory and will enforce security protocols and assure that the facility exceeds the strict federal guidelines that are required of a schedule 1 research laboratory. “Safety Management Solutions provides MMJ with highly qualified, experienced armed and unarmed security guard services with specialization in marijuana facilities” says Manfredi. “With our leadership and management team we bring the experience of over fifty local employees to support the MMJ security effort” Manfredi added.
