Calm Waters AI Names Angela Jordan Executive VP

Medical coding and compliance veteran to oversee company’s new ChartPal service

NASHVILLE, Tenn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Calm Waters AI, an autonomous Evaluation & Management (E/M) coding solution for providers, announced that Angela Jordan has joined the company as Executive Vice President.

Jordan, a nationally recognized expert in the medical coding field, oversees the development and implementation of ChartPal, the company’s newest service offering. ChartPal provides physicians and non-physician practitioners with coding and documentation reviews that inform customized education to improve documentation accuracy and compliance, reduce audit risk, and positively impact providers’ financial bottom lines.

ChartPal is designed to offer valuable benefits to providers who use it either independently or in conjunction with Calm Waters AI, which reads and levels charts in milliseconds with 98% accuracy. As a result, practice groups improve compliance and reduce audit risk while gaining up to an hour per provider each day that would otherwise have been spent on documentation.

Jordan brings three decades of medical coding, documentation, and compliance experience to her new position. She has been a national member of the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC) since 2000 and a member of AAPC’s National Advisory Board. Her expertise has placed her in high demand as a presenter and lecturer on coding and compliance topics and national conferences and symposiums, and she has been widely published in industry journals.

Immediately prior to joining Calm Waters AI, Jordan served as Senior Manager, Advisory Solutions for Dallas-based Ventra Health, where she provided coding and compliance education and audit and litigation support for the organization’s clients. She holds credentials as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), a Certified Obstetrics Gynecology Coder (COBGC), and a Certified Professional Medical Scribe (CPMS).
