Dr. Gregory DiFelice, a renowned orthopedic surgeon and ACL repair pioneer, will be performing with his band comprised of actual previous patients
NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / October 5, 2023 / Dr. Gregory DiFelice, a renowned orthopedic surgeon and ACL repair pioneer, will be leading his band, Dr. D. and The Repaired Men, in a benefit concert on October 15 at the Cutting Room in NYC. All proceeds from the concert will go to the DiFelice Foundation for Orthopaedics, whose research is focused on innovative surgical approaches.
Dr. DiFelice is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports traumatology and joint reconstruction surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He has developed a custom approach called Preservation First®, which is based on ligament preservation and uses surgery as a last resort.
Dr. D and The Repaired Men is comprised of Dr. DiFelice and several of his actual patients who just so happen to be musically talented. This is not their first gig; the band headlined a similar benefit concert in October of last year.
The mission of the DiFelice Foundation for Orthopaedics is to research and promote advancements and new techniques in orthopedics. The benefit concert is a great opportunity to raise funds for the foundation and to spread awareness about the importance of orthopedic research.
