Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Hears Oral Arguments on Patent Dispute

(NYSE:BHC)(TSX:BHC), and its gastroenterology business Salix Pharmaceuticals, today announced that, as scheduled, oral arguments were heard today at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (the “Court”) in the matter of Salix Pharmaceuticals, LTD et al v. Norwich Pharmaceuticals, Inc. As expected, no ruling was issued by the Court following these oral arguments.
