Copay Assistance From The Assistance Fund Now Available for Eligible People Living With Heart Failure

ORLANDO, FL / ACCESSWIRE / March 18, 2024 / The Assistance Fund, an independent charitable patient assistance organization that helps patients and families facing high medical out-of-pocket costs, today announced the launch of a new copay assistance program for people living with heart failure. The program is designed to help eligible individuals pay for their out-of-pocket medical costs for treatment, such as copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles.

Heart failure is a life-threatening condition where the heart muscle is unable to properly pump blood throughout the body. Without proper blood circulation, people living with heart failure can experience fatigue, high blood pressure, and an inability to exercise. Based on their stage of heart failure, patients may require daily treatment, lifestyle changes, or bypass surgery.[1]

“The launch of TAF’s Heart Failure Copay Assistance Program ensures that numerous people living with heart failure won’t face the dilemma of choosing between their financial security and their health,” said Danielle Vizcaino, President and CEO of The Assistance Fund. “Thanks to the support of our donors, critical treatment is now within reach for so many families facing a heart failure diagnosis.”
