WOODBURN, IN / ACCESSWIRE / September 3, 2024 / Safe Haven Baby Boxes is thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new reality series, “Baby Boxes.” This series takes viewers behind the scenes showcasing the inspiring and often outspoken team members who make our life-saving work possible.
The series’ debut exceeded all our expectations, reaching more households than we ever imagined! On the night of Episode One’s launch, we saw record-breaking engagement: over 2,000 viewers on Facebook, nearly 3,000 joining live on YouTube, and over 4,000 tuning in on TikTok. In total, nearly 9,500 viewers watched the first episode live. With unprecedented engagement across our social media platforms, our overall reach surpassed 24,000 impressions. Most remarkably, by the end of the night, we reached over 1 million followers on TikTok alone.
While our series launch left much to be celebrated, we are excited to also announce four new episodes dropping this upcoming month.
What viewers can look forward to in future episodes:
Episode 5 takes viewers on a journey to Oklahoma City, where a new Baby Box is being installed. Over dinner, founders Monica and Joe Kelsey hear the inspiring story of how one Baby Box in China, over two decades ago, motivated first responders in the state of Oklahoma to join the Baby Box mission. Later in the episode, Monica also addresses popular misconceptions about the connection between abortion and infant abandonment, revealing some surprising statistics.
Episode 6 celebrates the passage of the Safe Haven law in Mississippi and the state’s installation of its first Baby Box. The episode provides an inside look at the dedication and steps involved in bringing a Baby Box to a new community.
Episode 7 offers a rare glimpse into the Safe Haven Crisis hotline, where licensed counselor Pam handles anonymous calls from mothers-in-crisis.
Episode 8 brings a lighter touch, offering viewers a tour of the Kelsey family home. Mayor Joe Kelsey shares personal stories, including his journey to reconnect with a long-lost brother and his connection with former Vice President Pence.
The “Baby Boxes” series not only entertains but also educates and inspires, offering a deeper understanding of the Safe Haven Baby Boxes’ mission and the incredible impact it has on communities nationwide.
