Alliant Health Solutions Announces Promotion of Dr. Natasha Avery to Chief Operating Officer

ATLANTA, GA / ACCESSWIRE / December 9, 2024 / Alliant Health Solutions is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Natasha Avery to Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. In her new role, Dr. Avery will continue to provide leadership and strategic direction for Alliant’s operations, focusing on operational excellence, contract implementation, and the achievement of key performance metrics.

Dr. Avery has been a senior leader for Alliant’s Program Management Office (PMO), playing a key role in overseeing the operational success of Alliant’s Medicare and Medicaid contracts. She has been instrumental in leveraging data-driven quality improvement strategies and enhancing operational performance across various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, and dialysis providers.

Dr. Avery brings 20 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in process and quality improvement. She previously served as Executive Director of Alliant’s ESRD Network 8 contract from 2017 to 2021, where she was responsible for operational oversight, grievance investigations, patient engagement activities, and providing technical assistance to the ESRD provider community. From 2008 to 2016, she held the position of patient services director, further expanding her expertise in healthcare operations and patient care.

Dr. Avery holds a Doctorate in public health, is a licensed master prepared social worker, and is certified as a health education specialist and a professional in healthcare quality. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Mississippi Kidney Foundation and has presented at national and regional healthcare conferences, served on technical expert panels and advisory boards, and health committees. Additionally, she is a member of several organizations committed to volunteer efforts focused on public health, community engagement, and youth leadership. Carol Allen, who previously held the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will continue in her role as Executive Vice President.
