Forbes Names The Assistance Fund Among Largest U.S. Charities
ORLANDO, FLORIDA / ACCESSWIRE / January 8, 2025 / The Assistance Fund (TAF), an independent charitable patient assistance organization that helps patients and families facing high medical out-of-pocket costs, today announced it was listed by Forbes-one of the nation’s leading business publications–in its “100 Largest U.S. Charities” list. This marks the fourth consecutive year TAF has been included among the list of prestigious, impactful nonprofits across the country.
For more than 15 years, The Assistance Fund has been a lifeline for people navigating the financial burden of living with a life-changing disease. Through nearly 100 disease programs that provide financial assistance for copays, health insurance premiums, and incidental medical expenses, TAF eliminates barriers underinsured people face accessing critical treatment. In 2024, TAF helped more than 40,000 children and adults in all 50 states.
