Grogo Launches an Innovative App that Transforms Screen Time into Brain-Boosting Breaks for Kids

This New Edutainment Tool for Families is now Available on iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android phones

CHICAGO, Feb. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Grogo, an innovative app that reimagines parental device control with brain boosting screen time breaks, today announces their launch in the Apple App store and Google Play store. Designed for children grades 2-12, Grogo is redefining the way kids use their devices through an edutainment app that uses snackable learning breaks to build better balanced screen time.

Grogo is a subscription-based app with timed AI-generated interruptions, where brain boosting screen breaks are the key to online access. To combat the growing concern of children endlessly scrolling through their phones, Grogo gives kids a chance to break the binge.

At intervals set by the parent, Grogo locks the child’s other apps until they correctly answer a series of grade-appropriate math, science, English, history or pop culture questions. Grogo even adjusts the difficulty of the questions based on the child’s pattern of correct and incorrect answers. The app will allow users to sign up for a 14-day free trial and will be $6.99 per child, or $9.99 per family per month, with two months free when parents choose an annual plan.

“Current device management apps are about surveillance and control, pitting parent against child. We developed Grogo as a non-punitive way for kids to develop better balanced screen time habits,” said Brad Brinegar, co-founder and chief marketing officer of Grogo. “And we’ve even seen that parents want Grogo for themselves!” said Richard Marra, Jr., co-founder and CEO.

For more information, visit https://grogo.com/ or download the app on the Apple App store or Google Play store to start a 14-day free trial today.
