Award Underscores eVisit’s Role as the Trusted Partner for Health System Digital Care Transformation

WASHINGTON, Feb. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — eVisit, the leading digital care transformation partner for innovative health systems, is proud to announce that for the second consecutive year, they have been awarded the 2025 Best in KLAS for Virtual Care Platforms (non-EHR). This prestigious recognition, awarded by KLAS Research, reconfirms eVisit’s outstanding performance and innovation in delivering solutions that empower healthcare organizations to streamline and scale digital care transformation programs.

The annual report highlights the top-performing healthcare IT solutions as determined by extensive evaluations and feedback from thousands of healthcare providers. Of all eligible virtual care solutions, eVisit received the highest score for overall performance. eVisit’s overall score increased by six points from last year’s numbers, and every subcategory saw an increase. Three of the highest increases were in the “Likely to Recommend,” “Supports Integration Goals,” and “Quality of Implementation” metrics.

“We are honored to receive the Best in KLAS award for a second consecutive year. This achievement reflects the trust our health system partners place in us and their ongoing commitment to innovation,” said Sachin Agrawal, Chief Executive Officer of eVisit. “One of the exciting developments in 2024 was deepening our collaborations with health systems as they expanded their virtual care programs in both ambulatory and acute care settings. We are seeing programs expand into virtual urgent care, telestroke, behavioral health, virtual nursing, and more. We will continue to support these far-reaching visions, and I’m grateful for our eVisit team and partners.”

Enhanced Capabilities

One significant product development in 2024 was eVisit’s acquisition of the inpatient teleconsult technology platform developed by UPMC Enterprises, the innovation, commercialization, and venture capital arm of UPMC. This addition has further enhanced the platform’s capabilities in telestroke, tele-ICU, and provider-to-provider consults. UPMC Enterprises also provides eVisit with technology advisory expertise. Andrew R. Watson, MD, MLitt, UPMC Enterprises senior medical advisor and past president of the American Telemedicine Association, is also part of eVisit’s Clinical Advisory Board.

Dr. Watson emphasized the importance of pairing dependable, scalable technology with a shared vision.

“The technology must work. It must be reliable,” said Dr. Watson. “To build a scalable, enterprise-wide program, great technology must also be paired with a collaborative mindset that encourages health system leaders to share their 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year visions with the technology partner to work on objectives together.”

Customer Comments

The Best in KLAS report recognizes software and services companies that excel in helping healthcare professionals improve patient care. All rankings are a direct result of the feedback from thousands of providers over the last year. The 2025 Best in KLAS report features anonymous comments from dozens of eVisit customers and end-users who shared their experience using the company’s virtual care solution. Among them were:

Executive: “eVisit has been a wonderful partner. The transition in support was pretty seamless, and they have continued to provide a wonderful service to our providers and patients. Our training process is mostly done at this point, but there were some additional providers who we brought live, and everything has gone very well, though that was just a small sample size. The vendor has been extremely proactive in their outreach and ongoing support. We have a direct relationship with more than one executive from eVisit, and one of them meets regularly with us, so we are meeting with all levels of the organization. This isn’t really a traditional vendor relationship; this is a true partnership. As we look to find that right partner, we can’t afford to have somebody who isn’t going to support us 24/7. eVisit has been extremely supportive from that perspective, and we have had no degradation in the service.” (Quoted Oct. 2024)
