MedAllies, Epic, Netsmart and eClinicalWorks demoing together at HIMSS 2025

Four EHR vendors and/or network leaders in the HIT industry: MedAllies, Epic, Netsmart and eClinicalWorks will be demoing QHIN™ Interoperability for urgent care treatment and 360X Closed Loop Specialty Referral.

FISHKILL, N.Y., Feb. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — MedAllies, Epic, Netsmart and eClinicalWorks will demonstrate a compelling clinical scenario highlighting the necessity for QHIN interoperability to expedite effective treatment in an urgent care setting. Then, 360X closed loop specialty referral will demonstrate appropriate ambulatory care follow up. This 2-step demonstration shows both the interoperability “pull” and “push” of clinically necessary treatment information.

“This will be the second year that MedAllies and Epic, have organized a demonstration of the essential need for QHIN interoperability to achieve appropriate diagnosis and treatment,” said Dr. Holly Miller, CMO of MedAllies. Joining this year are Netsmart and eClinicalWorks.

The team will also show the importance of 360X closed loop specialty referral management for care coordination. Participating vendors have all developed to the 360X IHE approved standard embedded in their EHR systems and have clients actively using the services that will be showcased in the demonstration.

“Our Netsmart team has continued to have a strong presence at HIMSS, and we are thrilled to highlight the work we’ve been doing alongside this group of interoperability industry leaders to achieve 360X interoperability standards, ultimately enhancing care coordination and driving the industry toward more efficient and effective patient outcomes,” said AJ Peterson, SVP & GM of CareGuidance, Netsmart.

See this demonstration from March 4th – 6th in the HIMSS Interoperability and Smart Experience Pavilion.

Healthcare constituent organizations are encouraged to join the TEFCA™ on-ramp to interoperability by selecting a QHIN network. Ambulatory primary care and specialty providers are encouraged to ask their vendors about how to start using 360X referral management.
