Peerbridge Health Unveils Cor MDx™ Next-Generation IoT ECG Wearable at HIMSS Global Health Conference

Wireless connectivity enablement with AT&T helps Peerbridge expand access to AI-driven cardiac care

LAS VEGAS, March 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Peerbridge Health is ushering in the next generation of remote cardiac monitoring at the HIMSS Global Health Conference with the introduction of Cor MDx, the world’s most powerful cardiac IoT wearable. COR MDx will be showcased at AT&T Booth#1732, underscoring its role in transforming cardiac care through cutting-edge technology. Cor MDx represents a complete reimagining of traditional ECG wearable patches. The device combines best-in-class signal fidelity and real-time multi-lead streaming and connectivity over BLE and LTE to offer a seamless, cost-effective solution for cardiac care. This step forward in technology delivers non-invasive cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary measurements to enable the 30+ indications previously announced in Peerbridge’s COR-INSIGHT trial.

Bridging Gaps in Cardiac Care with Advanced AI
With an estimated 40 million Americans suffering from undiagnosed heart failure and 85% of rural counties lacking a cardiologist, Cor MDx is designed to expand access to early detection and intervention for those in need but being missed today. The wearable will support full-spectrum monitoring, from 14-day Holter monitoring and mobile cardiac telemetry (MCT) to advanced hemodynamic assessments and acute care telemetry.

“Cor MDx sets a new benchmark in remote cardiac diagnostics and monitoring,” said Chris Darland, CEO of Peerbridge Health. “This device not only enhances diagnostic yield but also dramatically reduces costs, enabling hospitals, physicians, and patients to access critical cardiac insights like never before. Our ongoing collaboration with AT&T further strengthens our ability to deliver seamless real-time connectivity, ensuring continuous cardiac monitoring for patients everywhere and the providers caring for them.”

Enabling Real-Time, AI-Driven Cardiac Monitoring
AT&T provides the IoT backbone for Cor MDx, enabling real-time data transmission, remote study reconfiguration, and seamless management over LTE, for optimal patient monitoring.

“AT&T is helping Peerbridge through secure, intelligent connectivity,” said David Garver, area vice president, AT&T Connected Solutions. “We support Peerbridge Health’s Cor MDx wearable with wireless connectivity so they can deliver AI-powered, hospital-grade cardiac diagnostics and monitoring. Peerbridge’s technology enables predictive, personalized care to help enhance the quality of care for patients.”

Expanding Access at Ultra-low Cost
“In our view, reaching underserved communities means bringing hospital-grade tools directly to their doorsteps in the most inexpensive way imaginable. Achieving this goal required a complete re-tooling of the hardware, software and cost structure for Peerbridge Health,” added Darland. “We’re fortunate to have AT&T supporting our mission of delivering ultra low-cost cardiac diagnostics and monitoring to millions of patients falling between the cracks today.”

Regulatory & Market Outlook
Cor MDx is expected to launch commercially in the second half of 2025, pending regulatory approvals.

The device will initially be deployed in the COR-INSIGHT clinical trials involving up to 15,000 participants at leading hospitals, outpatient clinics, and medical research centers.  Hospital systems participating in the HeartX program, led by HealthTech Arkansas and MedAxiom, will have first access to the Cor MDx device as the teams work together to deliver improved outcomes to rural patients across the U.S.
