Chad Baugh Named as Chief Commercial Officer, Paige Swanepoel joins as Senior Vice President of Marketing
SAN FRANCISCO, March 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Vynca, a healthcare services and software company that cares for individuals with serious illnesses and complex needs, today announced the appointment of Chad Baugh as Chief Commercial Officer and Paige Swanepoel as Senior Vice President of Marketing.
“These strategic leadership hires will greatly accelerate our efforts to provide and support high-quality, community-based palliative care for adults and children living across the U.S. struggling with serious illnesses,” said Vynca CEO Darren Schulte, M.D. “Chad brings an outstanding record of driving growth and building high-performing teams. Paige has a proven track record of success in leading marketing functions to support rapid expansion within the provider and patient community. Their combined efforts will establish Vynca as the leader in bringing patients more quality days at home.”
In his role, Mr. Baugh will lead Vynca’s commercial strategy to bring high-quality care to populations across the country. He will drive expansion by establishing strong referral networks, innovative payer partnerships, and strategic ventures with health systems operating in rural and urban markets. Mr. Baugh has over twenty years of executive leadership experience in healthcare, most recently as the Chief Revenue Officer at ReferWell, where he grew revenue by three hundred percent over three years. Before Vynca, Mr. Baugh held leadership roles at ReferWell, Teladoc Health, and GE Healthcare. He is passionate about empowering his team to improve healthcare outcomes and patient engagement through innovative care solutions.
Ms. Swanepoel represents the company’s first strategic marketing hire. She will leverage her marketing expertise in highly stigmatized, newer categories in healthcare to lead the company’s education and market awareness efforts. Ms. Swanepoel’s previous experience includes brand strategy and digital marketing at multiple health and technology organizations, including Pelago, WIN Fertility, and Ideeon, as well as twenty years in digital publishing, brand engagement, and strategic messaging at companies such as the Bonnier Group and National Geographic.
Vynca provides expert palliative care through a hybrid clinical model that combines in-person and virtual visits, ensuring convenience and accessibility. Palliative care is designed to relieve the symptoms and stress of serious illness and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. Studies demonstrate that high-quality, outpatient palliative care can reduce inappropriate hospital admissions for patients not in hospice care who are suffering from diseases such as metastatic cancer and late-stage heart failure. At least 13 million adults and nearly 700,000 children in the United States are currently living with a serious illness, and could benefit from palliative care. Vynca’s unique technology-led approach allows the company to address the needs of patients in various settings nationwide.
