SOUND+THERAPY is a bedside device that uses 40 Hertz gamma sound beats and light flashes to promote better sleep. Studies suggest that gamma therapy may help reduce dementia-causing Amyloid beta (Aβ) protein in the brain.

CAMPBELL, Calif., March 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — SOUND+THERAPY produces proprietary 40 Hertz (Hz) gamma sound beats and light flashes. 40 Hz is a special frequency that falls within the lower range of gamma brainwave activity. Gamma frequencies have been a part of sound healing therapy for millennia to balance brain processes and to improve brain function. In the more recent years 40 Hz has been shown in multiple studies to support sleep, relaxation, and brain health. Producing accurate and soothing 40 Hz sound beats is challenging due to the low frequencies involved. ASTI experts developed the device to generate soothing sound beats and synchronized light flashes at an affordable cost.

“SOUND+THERAPY is our first sound and light product designed to help people who have tried everything they can get their hands on to sleep better, but nothing works for them,” said Sam Nicolino, President and CEO of ASTI.

Dr. Michael Hoffmann, MD, Ph.D., Professor of Neurology at UCF College of Medicine, confirms our excitement: “My experience with SOUND+THERAPY dates to approximately the last four years. I have advocated its use in more than a dozen people with refractory insomnia, several of whom had severe post-traumatic stress disorders related to war-related conditions. Anecdotally, the majority experienced a profound improvement using the device, with some reporting several hours of restful sleep for the first time in many years to decades.”

SOUND+THERAPY is a self-calibrated bedside device:

  • Supports Daytime (sound & light) and Nighttime (sound only) Sessions
  • Caregiver Friendly Design
  • 4 Different Pleasing 40 Hz Sound Beats
  • 4 Optional Sound Beat Synchronized Light Flash Levels
  • 9 Calibrated Volume Levels
  • Sleep Timer & Headphone Jack

SOUND+THERAPY is available now online at Amazon.com and Walmart.com. For more information or to purchase from ASTI, visit www.soundplustherapy.com/
