MINNEAPOLIS, March 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Data Recognition Corporation (DRC) announced today that it will work together with the Medical Surgical Nursing Certification Board (MSNCB) to develop and deliver the Board’s examinations for medical-surgical nursing certifications. MSNCB selected DRC as their exam services partner through a competitive bid process among multiple service providers. This multi-year contract adds a keystone Nursing client to DRC’s growing Licensure and Certification portfolio in the healthcare sector.
MSNCB is a certification board with a mission to validate excellence in medical-surgical nursing. Medical-surgical nurses are recognized as a powerful force in healthcare, with a community of 800,000 strong throughout the U.S. MSNCB certifications include the Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN®) and Certified Acute Care Virtual Registered Nurse (CAVRN) programs. The current CMSRN certificant base is over 30,000 RNs strong. In the last year, MSNCB administered approximately 3,300 CMSRN exams.

DRC will provide all support services for the new contract, including exam development, psychometric services, program management, item banking (with DRC’s partners at Surpass), and exam delivery (with DRC’s partners at Pearson VUE).
