New executive hires to drive enterprise strategy and symplr Operations Platform advancement
HOUSTON, March 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — symplr®, a leading provider of enterprise healthcare operations software, today announced the recent appointments of Mike Valli as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Scott Sbihli as Chief Product Officer (CPO). These appointments contribute to the ongoing evolution of symplr’s comprehensive approach to healthcare operations and support the newly launched symplr Operations Platform (SOP), driving innovation and long-term growth.
Valli brings extensive experience in healthcare technology leadership and market strategy to symplr. In his role as CCO, Valli will lead Sales and Success teams and collaborate with the executive team to ensure commercial alignment with customer needs. He joins symplr from Optum where he served as both Market President and Executive Vice President of Enterprise Strategy and Growth, leading teams focused on all of Optum’s business segments. He has been recognized in the healthcare industry for his innovative leadership including Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Emerging Leaders, Business Insider’s 30 under 40 Leaders, and Becker’s Rising Stars in Healthcare.
Sbihli is a seasoned healthcare technologist with over 25 years of product management, innovation and executive leadership experience. As CPO, he will oversee symplr’s product strategy, portfolio and roadmap, ensuring these are integrated and optimized within the broader symplr Operations Platform, helping customers to consolidate systems and create cross-enterprise workflows. He joins symplr from Inovalon where he served as Senior Vice President of Product Management, overseeing quality, risk, member outreach, and data lake/AI solutions for payers. Prior to Inovalon, Sbihli held payer and provider product leadership roles at HealthEdge and Nuance Communications.
