University of Florida Adopts ScribbleVet AI Scribe Tools for Veterinary Facilities, Students

LOS ANGELES and GAINESVILLE, Fla., March 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — ScribbleVet, an AI-powered scribe used by thousands of veterinarians, and the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine announced that the University has adopted ScribbleVet’s artificial intelligence solution for use across its veterinary facilities. ScribbleVet’s tools will also be used in classroom settings for the University’s veterinary students.

The University of Florida selected ScribbleVet for its accuracy, ease-of-use, and operational efficiency.

“We chose ScribbleVet for its high accuracy and time-saving workflows, which allow clinicians to reclaim hours for patient care while seamlessly incorporating AI into student training,” said Andrea Miller, Associate Director of Operations at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. “This collaboration reflects our leadership in veterinary AI innovation, equipping future professionals with the tools to streamline workflows, advance diagnostics, and elevate standards of care.”

ScribbleVet is a digital scribe tool that uses artificial intelligence to complete veterinary SOAP notes during a patient exam, simply by recording the appointment. This allows veterinarians to finish their medical notes and complete medical record-keeping in minutes rather than hours each day.

“The University of Florida is the first educational institution to adopt ScribbleVet system-wide, for both veterinary facilities and student use,” said Rohan Relan, Founder and CEO of ScribbleVet. “We’re excited to assist the University in teaching practices and students about ways they can leverage artificial intelligence to free up their time, minimizing administrative tasks and maximizing patient attention.”
