Remodel Health Names Chris Reuter as Chief Revenue Officer

INDIANAPOLIS, April 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Remodel Health, the leading individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement (ICHRA) provider, today announced the appointment of Chris Reuter as Chief Revenue Officer. Reuter brings nearly two decades of leadership experience in the individual health insurance market, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Carrier Sales at UnitedHealthOne, a division of UnitedHealthcare.

His appointment comes as Remodel Health continues to scale amid accelerated growth in ICHRA adoption, especially among applicable large employers (ALEs). According to the HRA Council, the number of ALEs offering ICHRAs grew by 84% in 2024, reflecting a shift in employer strategy away from traditional group plans and toward more flexible, defined contribution solutions.

“Chris’s deep knowledge of the individual market and proven leadership in broker and digital distribution make him uniquely positioned to help us serve more employers and employees nationwide,” said Austin Lehman, CEO of Remodel Health. “As ICHRA reshapes the future of employer-sponsored benefits, we’re building the best team in the industry to meet that moment. Chris joining Remodel Health is another clear signal that we’re leading the way.”

Reuter began his health insurance career in 2005 at UnitedHealthcare’s Golden Rule Insurance Company and quickly rose through the ranks. He held roles including Director of FMO Agency Sales and Director of Digital Marketing and eCommerce before being promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2016. He played a critical role in the expansion of UnitedHealthOne’s distribution channels and supported multiple acquisitions during a period of significant growth.

“ICHRA is not just a policy trend—it’s a movement that is fundamentally changing how employers offer health benefits,” said Reuter. “Remodel Health has built the most complete solution in the market with its white-glove service, national broker support, and intuitive technology platform. I’m thrilled to join a company that’s defining the future of health benefits.”

Remodel Health offers the most comprehensive ICHRA solution on the market, combining advanced technology with dedicated support teams that serve employers and group brokers across all 50 states. In February 2024, Remodel Health acquired PeopleKeep, expanding its product portfolio and platform capabilities. In December 2024, the company received over $100 million in strategic growth investment from Oak HC/FT—further accelerating its national expansion and commitment to reshaping employer-sponsored benefits.
