ORMCO™ AND DENTALMONITORING PARTNER TO SUPPORT PRACTICES’ GROWTH THROUGH IMPROVED CLINICAL EFFICIENCY AND COST SAVINGS

– Spark™ Clear Aligners Providers Continue Ability to Request Refinements or Retainers Without In-Office Scans –

BREA, Calif. and AUSTIN, Texas, April 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — DentalMonitoring, the global leader in AI-powered remote monitoring solutions for orthodontics, is proud to expand its Partnership Program in collaboration with Ormco™ Corporation, a global leader in orthodontic solutions for over 60 years, launching at the AAO 2025 Annual Session.

Under this program, supported by Ormco and designed to make remote monitoring with DentalMonitoring accessible to a much broader Ormco customer base, Ormco providers in North America using DentalMonitoring will benefit from 25% savings on monitoring fees for all newly started Ormco cases across all appliances, including Spark™ Clear Aligners and Ormco’s bracket systems, including Damon Ultima™.

“As the orthodontic industry evolves, our goal is to make remote monitoring accessible, impactful, and financially sustainable for every practice,” said Philippe Salah, CEO of DentalMonitoring. “Our partnership with Ormco brings doctors powerful clinical tools and meaningful savings.”

Continued Integration: Streamline Refinements and Retainers with Smart STL

Ormco customers will continue to have access to a streamlined refinement and retainer workflow for Spark providers via an integration between the DentalMonitoring platform and Spark™ Approver Software. This workflow allows orthodontists to request refinements or retainers without requiring an additional in-office scan.

How it works:

  • The Smart STL feature combines the patient’s initial intraoral scan with their latest DentalMonitoring images and Spark Stage file.
  • The system generates a production-ready STL file.
  • Doctors can initiate a refinement or retainer request directly within the Spark Approver Software — no new scan, no additional visit needed.

“This integration continues to be a game-changer for both patient convenience and operational efficiency,” said Jay Issa, Vice President of Portfolio Management, Ormco. “By streamlining workflows, Spark providers are empowered to work more efficiently, minimize overhead, and keep patients on track with their treatment plans—no matter where they are. It’s a meaningful advancement that reflects our commitment to innovation and improving the provider and patient experience alike.”

The expanded Partnership Program including the Spark Smart STL integration will be featured at the DentalMonitoring booth (#2027) and Ormco booth (#1015) during AAO 2025. For more information, visit www.dentalmonitoring.com or www.ormco.com.
